ay 2016-2017

The Commission on Audit (COA) is known as one of the independent constitutional commissions of the University of St. La Salle (USLS) Student Government composed of bona fide and qualified student leaders. The Commission has the power, authority and duty to examine and audit the accounts pertaining to the inflows and outflows of campus organizations and all branches of the Student Government. Aside from that, the Commission is authorized to define the scope of its audit and promulgate auditing rules and regulations. 

Some specific functions of the Commission include: 

    • Endorsing activity (fundraising or organization-sponsored) forms for approval
    • Counting, stamping, signing and controlling solicitation forms and other fundraising materials;
    • Verifying the accuracy and reasonableness of items presented in the Liquidation Reports through the issuance of Audit Memorandums;
    • Submitting monthly and semestral reports to the Office for Student Affairs and to the University Student Government.
